Established in the 1970s, the Portland Softball Umpires Association has a long history of providing quality umpiring to the high schools of Portland, Oregon and the surrounding four-county area.
Our territory extends from the Columbia River in the North to Wilsonville and Newberg in the South. We serve high schools as far east as Corbett, Sandy and Estacada and as far west as Vernonia and Scappoose.
At the PSUA, we believe that all players — regardless of their abilities, deserve good umpires, so we’re constantly looking for quality individuals with a desire to learn and a passion to serve young people, the community and the great sport of fast-pitch softball. We strive to provide high quality training and a welcoming environment for umpires of all ages and years of experience – from seasoned veterans to brand-new rookies.
