These are the items that should be covered at the Umpire’s Pre-Game Conference with the teams’ head coaches:
PSUA Pre-Game Conference
- Introductions; Coaches/Captains
- Review line-up cards
- Ask if the teams are playing the 15 runs after 3 rule
- Is there an on-site administrator?
- Are players legally and properly equipped?
- Is there a blood kit or trainer on site?
- Reminder about sportsmanship
- Have the home coach go over the ground rules
